In this section, we have endeavored to narrate different stages of work in the progress of construction of Masjid-e-Saifee, along with various visits of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb (RA) and other dignitaries of the Da'awat.

With the farmaan of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb (RA), the 52nd Dai-ul-Mutlaq. Fakhruddin bhaisaheb Aamir took up duties of Aamil of Dubai in 1396H (1976AD). With his vast experience of amaalat, he soon visualised the need of a Masjid as well as a complex of ancillary services to promote the well being of the Dawoodi Bohra community in Dubai, numbering approximately 3,000 persons at the time.

His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed al-Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai in the true meaning and spirit of Islam generously offered land free of cost for this purpose. However, the land was situated at too great a distance from the heart of the city wherein community members were residing.

A decision was taken that a land more conveniently situated should be acquired.

In 1396H (1976 AD) new land was acquired in the extent of 21,000 sq.ft. The site which is square in shape was negotiated during the presence at Dubai of Shahzada Mufaddal bhaisaheb Saifuddin who was instrumental for inspiring and encouraging the community for the new Masjid.
